Who is Keaton Thandi?
Keaton Thandi is a self producing musical artist and multi-instrumentalist residing in Philadelphia, PA. Keaton tours the world playing different instruments and singing with multiple artists and has had the pleasure of playing with Gloria Gaynor, Michael Glabicki, Lady Wray, Joe Lynn Turner, Earl Slick and many more. When not on the road, Keaton is hard at work producing, mixing, writing, gigging and engineering , working with a plethora and variety of artists spanning all genres.
Keaton was born in London, England, to two loving Indian parents, grew up playing rock n roll, punk, folk, indie, psych, metal and prog before he studied composition, arranging, film scoring and jazz drumming at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He has since spent a significant amount of time traveling in South America and studying the percussion languages of the African, Cuban, Brazilian and Colombian diaspora. He has also spent time in India and all over Europe, always studying music and searching for unique sounds. All of these cultures and influences are present in his music and he aims to make universal music with the goal of spreading love, empathy and self empowerment.
Keaton owns and operates a recording studio called TIGER PAW RECORDING and would love to work with you on bringing your musical visions to life. He is available for Performance, Production, Mixing, Mastering, Engineering, and session recording work, both in person and remote.
